The Historic Train Depot is located north of Columbus and south of Atlanta at 4780 Harris Road, Ellerslie, GA 31807.

The Depot is available for rent for private functions. It is the ideal place to host Birthday Parties, Holiday Parties, Family Reunions, Showers, Receptions, Business Meetings, Club Meetings, and more! A user’s fee is charged to offset utility and maintenance costs. 

Furnishings Available:  Full Kitchen Facility, Bathroom Facility, Sixty-Two fifty-three (53) white folding chairs; nine (9) 5′ white round tables; four (4) 8′ white rectangular tables and two (2) white fold-up rectangular tables for Food or for Seating. 

Occupancy is limited to 65 people. Comfortable interior occupancy is 48-50 people sitting at tables while you can seat a 62 if using chairs only.

Alcohol, smoking, and pets are prohibited. Please review and print the entire User’s Agreement for complete details on building usage requirements and restrictions.

Depot Reservations

To reserve the Ellerslie Historic Train Depot for your special event please check the live calendar this page for availability. If your date is available you may click on the date and complete the reservation request. It will be marked as pending until the Depot Committee approves your reservation.   You may also call Becky Preskitt at 706-575-1592. You will need to mail the completed User Contract with two (2) checks; one for the rent and one for the deposit, payable to The Ellerslie Depot. Send to PO Box 12, Ellerslie, GA 31807. Once the contract and checks are received, you will get an email confirming yiur reservation.

A $50.00 deposit is required from ALL renters.

Please allow 5-10 business days upon receipt of your Facility Use Application and checks for confirmation of reservation.

• A $50.00 deposit will be required of all renters. This deposit will be refunded within 30 (thirty) days after the scheduled event provided no damage occurred to the building or grounds, and provided the cleaning checklist is completed and left on the kitchen counter.
• The rental rate for Depot use is $125.00 for all renters.
• The Community Pavilion is rented through the Fire Department Chief. There is a $25.00 charge to rent The Community Pavilion and is available on a first come first serve basis for the Community without charge if not reserved.
• All user fees are to be received by us within ten (10) days from the date of request.
• A $50.00 fee will be charged for returned checks for any reason. Reservations will be automatically cancelled.
• The Ellerslie Depot Board of Directors reserves the right to change the Ellerslie Depot User fees at any time without notice.
